Professionally:

Having been an artist her whole life, Nat's been doing professional
illustration for over a decade. Her work has been published in works of
poetry, magazines and  nonfiction, though she would love to
illustrate children's works. She's been successfully working as a free-
     lance artist since 2001.
Largely self taught, she happily embracing the challange of self-
education, right alongside being taught by someone else. She is a firm
supporter of self-taught artists, traditional artists, diy'ers and any
     and crafters of all kinds.

                                                     Influences:

There are many, but the preraphealites, art nouveau, deco and turn-
of-the-centry comic artists stand out often. I love artists like John
Waterhouse, Mucha, Ruben, Carrivaggio, Michaelangelo, comic artists
     Windsor Mckay, Authur Rackham,
     and even Robert Williams.

                                                 Appriciations:

I love foods with lots of flavor, dressing up, costumes, fantasy
     photoshoots, new wave/new romantic/electronic/experimental/unsual/
silly/european/celtic/ethnic and creative music, dogs, cats, petting
and playing with animals, spotting how funny clothing hangs on the
body of a pudgy baby, tulips, poppies, making and getting emails/
calls/visits from friends, creating art every day, and ever learning
about my faith in the precious God who so kindly made me. My faith
is a huge and important part of my life, with God thinking the ideas
for my work up first, while I only rent them. :)

                                                      Personal:

Originally from the deep American south in Alabama, I now reside
in Souther California with my talented musician husband and loving
plants. Born December 26th 1975, I am total loon, and little
      has changed since.

FAQ
Q: Would you do a commission for me?
A: Sure! Just drop by my 'Hire' page to find out the details.
I frequently have a waiting list, so please check the
Hire page or myself via email for my current waiting times.

Q: What does ACEO and OSWOA mean?
A: ACEO stands for 'Art Cards, Editions & Originals, and they are
always 2.5x3.5 inches(or collector card size). OSWOA stands for
Original Small Works Of Art, and are always 4x6 inches in size.

Q: Why don't you only make faeries or cats as your art subjects?
A: I have always loved variety. Many of my art choices are revisted
themes, though from time to time, I will add an idea I haven't
   tried yet.
Some artists are content to stay with one subject, or genre,
but I thrive by mixing it up. It keeps my mind active, and
allows more people a chance to discover my style.

Q: What mediums do you use?
A: A wide variety! I am currently rotating between graphite pencils,
ink, art marker, polymer clay, woodburning,
   watercolor pencil, watercolors and acrylics.

Q: What forms of payment do you take?
A: I take paypal, but I also take money orders.
Simply let me know upon commissioning me so I can provide you
with an address to mail payment.

Q: How will the art I ordered be shipped?
A: If canvas sheet: a well sealed poster tube
      watercolor paper: ships flat
stretched canvas: a heavily padded/secured box
Any other type of item(wood, etc), will be
packaged according to the best method,
ensuring the best and safest shipping

Q: Why A Life As An Artist?
A: What can I say, it's in my blood I suppose. It's not just
something I like to do, it comes as naturally as sleeping
   and eating every day.

Q: What's your favorite thing to capture as art?
A: That's a tough one, because it varies. Much like one day, you
wake up and want to wear red, and the next day, desire to wear
blue, my art cravings change too. Although I will say that
portraits and people are my very favorite, with animals a close
   second.

Q: What do you wish you could do more of?
A: I'd like to have more time for my icons,
children's books, and be able to create dolls
and puppets at some point. I would even love to design haute couteur
   shoes!
